Yet another destination – the Balassi Institute introduced Hungary’s higher education in Russia - Along with representatives of some 10 Hungarian higher education institutions, the Campus Hungary programme was present at the ‘Study in Europe’ education fair and workshop organized by the EU delegation to Russia between October 18-20, 2013.
The first venue was in Yekaterinburg, the Russian border city of Europe and Asia, where representatives of Hungarian higher education institutions had a chance to meet leaders of universities in the Ural area and discuss possible cooperation regarding student exchange and double degrees. Following the vocational programme the stands were open to Russian students eager to study abroad. Information on higher education in Hungary was provided at ten stands simultaneously. The exhibition held in the university town of Perm – located some 350 km north-west of Yekaterinburg – attracted local students from higher education institutions seeking mainly short term study programmes as well as adventurous, far-sighted secondary school pupils wishing to find out about their future possibilities well in advance.
The Campus Hungary programme continues to visit exhibitions all over the globe for the promotion of Hungary’s high standard education.
